Wow Bohol! Chocolate Hills

Seeing the Chocolate Hills upfront and personal is simply amazing. These incredible land formations are the province's main attraction. I'm not sure how true, but it was said that even geologists can't explain how these things came into being. A mark on top of the observation complex in Carmen says that the formations are a result of weathered marine lime stones.


There were about 1000++ of them, in varying sizes. The hills are like chocolate in summer. We visited Bohol during rainy season, so its a bit green. View of the hills may be enjoyed in both Carmen and Sagbayan towns.
