Review: Nike LunarGlide +

I am very happy and satisfied with my pair of Nike LunarGlide + after 80 kilometers of easy, tempo, and long runs (including Project: Calibre 45).

I find the shoe to be lightweight, and my feet “breathing” and very dry.

The cushioning is superb on the mid/forefoot, especially on asphalt. Wearing this pair made my feet more sensitive on the road type, and can easily distinguish asphalt from concrete.

Nike LunarGlide + also introduces the dynamic support system. Since I'm a midfoot runner, I only get to enjoy this feature when my calves are already tired and that I need to walk and shift to heel strike.

The color was also spanking! I got the Techno Blue/Volt/Blue/Grey variant, the swoosh was very visible/reflecting when lighted in the dark. Check out Nike Plus for other color variants.

Given the opportunity, I would love to have another pair.

The Nike LunarSwift + and Nike LunarElite + will be available soon, and hope I get the chance to review these in the future.

My Nike LunarGlide + is part of my 3 kings, and I name my pair Joey.

Jet,

Good to hear you're training went well for this weekend's run. I hope to see you there so I can introduce you to your aunt & cousins (my son & duaghter). Sleep well and see you bright and early or after the race. Good luck!

i have a question though. how come there's this chismis that lunar glide is a stability shoe? is this true? and can you comment on this? i've heard you're a neutral gaited person (tama ba ingles ko?)

but otherwise, nice review and shoe nonetheless (pero di pa rin ako bibili) hehehe :)

gwapo shoes!

hi uncle jo, see you at the skyway! =)

hey timmy, yep the nike lunarglide + is classified as a light stability cushioning shoe, and aims to address all runner foot types (high arched, neutral, and flat). visit nikeplus.com for more info. =)
