End Hunger, Walk the World!

Yes, we can help end hunger by walking the world!

Walkers and runners of all levels are invited to participate and help end hunger on June 6, 2010 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Philippines.

In the Philippines, the event is convened by the United Nations World Food Program (UN-WFP), TNT, and Unilever, to help raise funds to provide nutritious meals for about 70,000 schoolchildren in conflict affected areas in Mindanao.

Registration fee is only P250. You can get to choose either to walk 1 kilometer or run 5 kilometers. Each participant receives a 2010 Walk the World Shirt, Certificate of Donation, and Walk Day Instruction. 5k runners get an additional Race Bib.

• The Travel Club in SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM Fairview, Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3, Alabang Town Center, Festival Mall Alabang, Robinson’s Place Ermita, Power Plant Mall, Shangri-la Mall, V-Mall, Trinoma, and Eastwood City.
• Columbia in SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA The Block, Festival Mall Alabang, Greenbelt 5, and Gateway Mall.
• Brat Pack in Greenbelt 5, Robinson's Place Ermita, and Robinson's Galleria.
• DC in Trinoma, Gateway Mall, and Eastwood City.
• KFC in Robinson's Pioneer, Shangri-La, Market Market, Caltex Buendia, DLSU, Congressional, Katipunan, Eastwood, Roces, and Nagtahan.
