How can a prison be a tourist attraction?
Visit this place be awed by how our Bureau of Corrections manage the place. Inmates are "free" to roam the facility, because they till the soil and raise crops. And they also make handicrafts for sale.
Inmates assigned in this place came from different provinces. During my visit, I recall my visit to the National Bilibid Prison, and Drug Rehabilitation Center in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig. While one could easily say that Iwahig inmates are more fortunate because of the beauty of their facility, you would later on understand that their loneliness is far more challenging because they seldom receive visits from their loved ones.
Sorry, as with any prison facility, taking pictures is very limited.
