Run for a Purpose with Avon this October 11, 2015

Avon has always been in the forefront in the crusade against breast cancer through its Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer (KGBC) campaign. Now on its 13th year in the Philippines, the “company for women” is inviting everyone to show to the world that we are bigger than the disease through this year’s theme “I Share the Fight Against Breast Cancer.”

Calling everyone regardless of gender, age and background to step up and step out for a purpose. This October 11, 2015, go the distance to share the fight against breast cancer at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds.

Our ambassadors for this year, Jennylyn Mercado and Rocco Nacino, will join us in making each stride our contribution in winning the fight for those affected by breast cancer.

PARTNERS FOR A PURPOSE

Sharing the fight with Avon Philippines and the community are the Philippine Cancer Society, GMA Network, SM Mall of Asia, SM Cares, UnitedHealth Group, Ford Philippines, and Chris Sports. Proceeds of the run will go to the Breast Care Center of at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH). The center, established via KGBC, has aided in providing free medical consultation to indigent Filipino women and has established a regular support group for patients and survivors.

Our active participation, whether in the 5k or 10k run, will be a significant contribution in bringing back courage, strength and hope to those affected by breast cancer.
