World Vision Run | 23 Jun 2013 | BGC

Founded in 1950, World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

I was surprised that fellow runner, Jojo Pauly, was blessed through World Vision while growing in his province in Quezon.  Aside from running, you also see Jojo on the road taking photos during races.

I was impressed on how this organization work that I was moved to support their cause.  Hope you too could help bless the poor children of our nation.

Coach Rio also supports World Vision.  And to help raise more funds, World Vision together with RunRio will have a fun run on Jun 23, 2013 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.  Proceeds go to World Vision.

Registration is on-going until Jun 19, 2013 at Riovana (BGC and Katipunan) and Toby's (MOA and SM NEDSA-The Block).  Online registration via http://www.runrio.com/2013/05/world-vision-run-2013 is available also until Jun 19, 2013.
