Skechers ProSpeed SRR

Last Friday, 16 Sep 2011, I graced the launch of Skechers ProSpeed SRR in Market! Market!

Lightweight.  Explosive.  Efficient.  3 qualities every runner looks for in a shoe.  3 qualities Skechers Fitness Group promises to deliver.

The following are the features of the ProSpeed taken from the product booklet:

• SmartShoe Technology guides a runners body into a position that transforms the energy of impact into elastic (reusable) energy.  It's the key to efficient running.
• The Kinetic Return System combines the strength and flexibility of DuPont Hytrel material with the efficiency of an elliptical shape to deflect and convert impact forces and elastic energy into forward motion.

I took the ProSpeed for a spin last Saturday, 17 Sep 2011.  I normally land midfoot with occasional heel striking.  I intentionally ran the ProSpeed landing on the heel area and I was amazed on how the rocker-bottom guided my feet to land on the midfoot area instead.  I tried to walk (I'm an ultra-runner, you know), and still, my heels never touched the ground!

No trace of heel strike?! Unbelievable but true!

I look forward to running (and walking) long distances with Skechers ProSpeed SRR.
