Black Saturday Century Ride

My first century ride, together with fellow Bored members - Topher, Vic, and Wap, and Iron Bike friends led by Mike. Wap and I started in my place in BF Paranaque. Met the rest of the riders in Madrigal, Muntinlupa. We took off at 5:30 AM. Learned a new route going to Tagaytay. It's safer to riders than the usual route. The climb was challenging. Several pit stops to regroup and reload hydration. Major pit stop in Mushroom Burger. Going back was scary. Few pit stops this time. Sun was scorching come noon time. My Garmin got drained somewhere in Gen Trias, Cavite, and recorded up to 90.904 kms only. Good thing fellow riders shared their cyclo readings to us. 108 kms Madrigal-Tagaytay and vice versa. We added 14 kms to cover my place-Madrigal and vice versa. We got home 2:45 PM.
