Lorbes, Borlain lead young multi-sport athletes in Alaska IronKids Aquathlon

Inaki Emil Lorbes and Samantha Borlain are the top male and female finishers of the Alaska IronKids Aquathlon held last April 19, 2015 in The Village Sports Club in BF Homes Paranaque.

Participated by children aged 6 to 14 years old, Alaska IronKids promotes the values of discipline, hard work, integrity, and determination.

Age group 13 to 14 years old swam 400m and ran 3k, 11 to 12 year olds swam 300m and ran 2k, 9 to 10 year olds swam 200m and ran 1.5k, and 6 to 8 year olds swam 100m and ran 1k, all in the spirit of fun and camaraderie.

Marcus Faytaren and Luigi Miguel Crisostomo placed second and third to Lorbes.  Una Janus Sibayan and Janis Yzely Palacio placed second and third to Borlain.

Children who are new in the sport and would want to simply have a feel of the competition participated in the PLAY category.
